große Ausnahme im Werk des deutschen Popstars, der jüngst auf dem
Erfolgsalbum „Mercedes Dance“ seine Hinwendung zum Funk dokumentierte.
„Searching For The Jan Soul Rebels“ hieß 2001 sein Reggae-geprägtes
Solodebüt, dessen Songs jetzt als Dubs vorliegen. Die Aufnahmen
entstanden im „Turtle Bay Country Club“-Studio von Matthias Arfmann
(Patrice, Beginner) und protzen mit dicken Riddims, Hooks,
Backgroundchören und Bläsersätzen. Die acht Tracks werden durch das

The album was one of the first to showcase Pablo's unique use of the melodica.
